I hear melodies. All the time. The rhythmic translation of my sense of searching and never finding. They always contain that struggle, and therefore the passion that goes with it. We all share this feeling of searching, although our paths may differ. It is an important part of my search that those listening interpret my songs and passion across their own path.

My lyrics and music are intimate and interconnected, but the music is meant to present the lyrics and not attract attention to itself. It is mainly acoustic, but the sound and the style slides around in order to suit the emotion of the piece. I listen to original folk, blues, and anything Dylan. These are the influences of my sound, and nothing pleases me more than the closeness between simple melody, profound lyric, and a performance done with passion.
